  The main tasks of the Directorate:
  1. Providing all departments and regions of the municipality with the human resources they need with scientific competence and practical experience for the required skills at the appropriate times. Predicting future needs for human resources and skills according to municipal plans, contributing to building supervisory positions within the replacement and succession methodology, developing annual training plans and studying the results of their achievement.
  2. Activating communication channels with employees to receive their complaints, suggestions and inquiries, dealing with them and studying them to identify needs and concerns and making recommendations, and contributing to creating a work environment that is stimulating and supportive of aspects Social welfare, job security and public safety for municipal employees.
  3. Developing appropriate and effective human resources policies and following up on their implementation, studying the results, and planning and developing human resources in accordance with the best international practices followed.
  4. Strive well to prepare systems for evaluating the performance of human resources, follow up on their application, study the overall results of their application, establish systems related to employee time, develop them and follow up on their application, save data related to human resources in the computer, prepare reports and statistics, supervise the application of the human resources system in coordination with the computer department and the accounting department, supervise the application of the human resources system in coordination with the computer department and the accounting department, monitor the integrity of database security, solve problems and provide technical support.
  5. Following up on employee affairs in the municipality throughout the period of service until its end and beyond for retirees, and documenting employee files and archiving them electronically.
  6. Preparing organizational structures and job descriptions for departments and jobs in coordination with the Local Development Unit, and preparing the annual job formation schedule in coordination with the Finance Department.
  7. Implementing laws, regulations and instructions related to human resources with transparency and fairness, and providing recommendations necessary for its development.
  8. Preparing the foundations of the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence, applying them to the municipal corporation, and activating training and institutional development.
