Investment Department

 

The general objective of the department:

Taking advantage of investment opportunities and marketing them locally, studying and preparing the necessary contracts, inventorying municipal properties, following up on their investment and operation, and preparing studies on establishing markets and complexes. Commercial and craft areas, managing tenders and public auctions, so that this is reflected in increasing municipal revenues, providing job opportunities and economic zones.

 

 

 

The Investment Department is affiliated with the following departments:

  • Property and Markets Department.
  • Studies and Projects Department And contracts.
  • Investment Window Section.

 

 

TheDepartmentis providing services and duties The following:

 

  1. Managing and coordinating the municipal investment committee, and the mayor is considered the head of the committee according to the local administration law.
  2. Supervising the inventory and management of municipal property, and taking the necessary measures to prevent attacks on it in coordination with the authorities.
  3. Supervising the leasing of shops and commercial complexes owned by the municipality, and working to attract investors from the private sector to invest in municipal property.
  4. Managing real estate contracts and drafting them with the legal advisor.
  5. Following up on investor services through the investment window by providing the best facilities.
  6. Following up and supervising the central and popular markets, the halal market, and the halal market. Birds, and the Friday market.
  7. Coordinating with the departments concerned with monitoring the markets.
  8. Following up on issues related to investment, leasing municipal property and the owners of financial liabilities owed financial claims with the legal advisor.
  9. Conducting inspection tours in coordination with the Professions Licensing Department and the Revenue Department on commercial, industrial and craft shops.
  10. Searching for Investment opportunities in coordination with the Local Development Unit to help the municipality increase its revenues.
  11. Providing consultations to the relevant departments in project studies and design, and monitoring the performance of the designs.
  12. Preparing the investment map in coordination with the relevant authorities, and participating in the preparation of the strategic development and investment plan with the Local Development Unit
